EVENT DETAILS

WE ARE RECRUITING IN YOUR AREA

The Community Rescue Service (CRS) are now accepting expressions of interest in joining the only accredited Lowland Rescue search and rescue organisation in N. Ireland.

We are looking for applicants for 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 and 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 roles.

So what are the two roles?

𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟

Our operational members begin their journey by becoming a nationally qualified Search and Rescue Technician (SARTech) and we are the only organisation to offer this qualification in N. Ireland. The primary role of a SARTech is to carry out searches for high-risk missing persons on behalf of the police across the entire region. From this essential foundation, our SARTech’s can branch into other disciplines including Water Rescue Technicians, Specialist Vehicle Operators, Response Boat Coxswains & Crew, Sonar Operators and more.

𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧

Our support team members are every part as essential as our operational volunteers and one couldn’t operate without the other. Being part of the support team allows you to take part in event organisation, fundraising, street collections and much more. You also have the opportunity to look after the welfare of our operational teams during taskings.

If you think either of these roles would be suitable to you and you have the availability to give your time to helping save others lives then we want to hear from you!

Click the button below, fill out your details and select either Operation Enquiry or Support Enquiry for your preferred role.
